What a marvelous cast of characters! The Hot Sauce King is my favorite, but there are many others: a talented music student, an insecure diva, and a sinister doctor who's not the man he claims to be. Bertie's best friend Ellen, another Metro College professor, is another colorful character. Over rum cocktails, Ellen gives Bertie sage advice on sleuthing and romance.
      The plot revolves around Testamax, a product in great demand by men of a certain age, sold by a local drug company. To reveal the ending would spoil the fun. If you enjoy humorous mysteries with a musical twist, Melody for Murder is for you! Let's hope Ms. Wilkins is already writing the next Bertie Bigelow mystery.

Delightful murder mystery with a main character that will remind you of Jessica from "Murder, She Wrote." You love her, but you just wish you could get her to stop sticking her nose in such dangerous places. Who does she think she is, trying to solve a murder?! Bertie is so lovable, and I can't wait to read the other books in the series. Highly Recommend.
